This job was one of the most enjoyable of the year.
A guy called up and said he wanted to restore a
Camaro with his son. He and I decided on the best
approach to take, and I located a good, rust-free
1968 Chevrolet Camaro for them to start with. I
took care of the shipping, and he and his son began
the restoration process.
First thing he and his son pulled the engine, interior,
and disassembled the exterior of the car. Then he
brought the car to the shop here and we did the
body and paint work in custom colors per the customer’s
request. Now father and son are finishing up the
restoration.
