This
'67 Firebird convertible is a real rare one, for
several reasons. First, how often do you see '67
Firebirds? And then cut that list way down until
you get to the convertibles. And then take all of
them off save one, because this one is a Sprint
6, Pontiac's very cool overhead cam 6 cylinder with
a four barrel carburetor. I think I've only seen
three of anything with this motor in it.
First there's removing the motor,
breaking it down, and resealing it. Then it's a
pretty complete underhood paint job, wiring harness,
the deluxe treatment. The car will also get body
and paint, lots of new trim/weatherstrip, replating.
And a new interior as well. With any luck I'll get
in the habit of updating this project weekly...stay
