This
’66 Chevy II belongs to one of the nicest guys we’ve
gotten to know. Gary is a career military man, devoting
his entire career in service to his country.
Gary
bought the car partly complete, did some work himself
over the years, and invited us to join in the fun.
We met Gary at his home, brought the car into our
shop, and began with bumper re-plating.
-Then
we wired and installed an antenna.
-Replaced
the windshield and seal.
-Completed
the installation of the wipers.
-Aligned hood and installed rubber bumpers.
-Installed
hood insulation. -Replaced door and vent glass seals.
-Repaired
door locks.
-Repaired rust holes in the floor.
-Buffed the paint and brought it to life.
-Installed carpet, seats, door panels, arm rests,
rear seat divider, sound insulation, glove box liner,
and shift boot.
-Complete
service.
-Replaced speedometer cable.
-Repaired lighting circuits.
-Replace transmission pan gasket and rear output
seal.
-Installed heater core.
-Replaced
all wheel brake cylinders.
-And we replaced his cracked intake manifold with
a good used one we had on hand.
Quite
a list for quite a guy with a terrific looking and
fast Chevy II!
